I sighed, looking up from my laptop to stare at my husband working on his laptop. Ludwig and I were working across from each other on our bed. I was leaning against the foot board and he was against the head board. I temporarily stopped my work to really take a look at him. His blond hair was slicked back as usual, though he sometimes leaves his messy bed head, only on occasions of course. He should let it go more. It’ll make it seem as if he doesn’t work all the time. My eyes now focused on his own.
They were icy blue and cold. Most people would cringe under his gaze, but I like to stare right back into them. His eyes were pretty hypnotizing once you got close enough, if he ever allowed you to be close enough. He was wearing his favorite black rimmed glasses today. He would never admit that they were his favorite.
My eyes were soon drawn to my husband’s lips. I can’t even remember how many times I’ve kissed those lips. One would think that Ludwig was a bad kisser, but whoever told you that was a liar. His kisses could be rough sometimes but they were equally as soft. I think I might be drooling just thinking about it.
I moved my gaze moved to his shoulders and arms. My face began to feel really warm. Don’t even get me started on how big his arms are. Ludwig had some pretty muscular arms. Okay some really muscular arms! The thing was no matter how large his muscles became they never made him look like a meat head. I’m happy for that. His arms could be pretty cuddly too. They’re even better when they are wrapped around your body during winter nights. I feel fuzzy just thinking about it.
I tried to lower my gaze further down to his abdomen, but just the thought of his abs were enough to make my heart beat a bit faster. I sighed once more, focusing back on Ludwig’s face. I jumped and saw Ludwig staring right back at me.
“Um (Name), are you alright?” He asked with confusion on his face. I nodded rapidly. He removed his glasses and pushed back his tamed hair. It was honestly unnecessary.
“Then why were you staring at me?” He asked a little serious. I laughed a bit. He seemed to relax after hearing my laughter.
“Don’t worry my ever so protective Deutsch Mann. I was just remembering how attractive you are. Problem?” I responded with my fingers interlocked under my chin. Ludwig sighed and placed his glasses back on his lightly pink face.
“Nein, carry on.”
“You know what?” I shut my laptop and place it on the floor. “Shut your laptop because
we’re going to cuddle!”
I closed his laptop for him, placed it on the side desk, and took off his glasses. I ruffled his hair and made him lie down facing me. Ludwig looked ridiculously confused and startled. I smiled and snuggled into his chest.
“Isn’t this better?” His arms wrapped around my body. The warmth instantly began to rise in my body.
“Ja, it is.”
